    when she said “what is your name” in french, Must we say the last part higher since its a question ?or… please someone help me.

    Yes, you should do that to indicate that it s a question.Oui, tu dois faire ca pour indiquer que c est une question.

    Yes. If you lower your voice at the end of the sentence whereas it’s a question, it will sound a bit as if you are depressive. But people will understand you all the same.

    sorry, my doubt is on the last phrase on this video. The teacher says that ‘What’s your name’ is ‘Comment s’appelle-t-elle’.but ‘Comment s’appelle-t-elle’ isn’t What’s her name?I would be very pleased if i get the reply of it.CheersJ.J

    Comment s’applelle-t-elle is What is her name. Comment s’appelle-t-il is What is his name. The formal way to ask “What is your name” is: Comment vous appelez-vous? The informal way to ask is Comment tu t’appelles?HTH you J J

    The teacher says “What’s her name?” in English but she doesn’t pronounce “h” so it sounds a bit like “your”, but it’s correct – it’s “What’s her name?” :)
