How Can I Have A Word Become Part Of The English Dictionary ?

I thought of a new word how do I make it official and part of the English dictionary ?

    Publish a dictionary of your own.

    Normally by popular usage. It evolves and thus becomes a part of the language. There are, I would think, technical, professional, and scientific
    terms accepted quickly.

    Dictionaries add new words when it is felt that they are a part of the language (ie- lots of people are using it…). If you want your name to be attached to it, you would have to be able to prove that you were the first one to use it. That probably means publishing something that uses the word, so that people can refer to the publication date and see that you were the originator of the word.

    I don’t think you can. The word would have to come into common usage over a period of time.
